On March 2nd, Kenji Hakuta attended and presented at the Education Success Project Colloquium at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Professor Hakuta spoke about the shift in teaching culture necessitated by the Common Core State Standards--a move toward more and more complex student language use.
We are pleased to announce that Understanding Language has received a seed grant to develop a Massive Open Online Course, or MOOC, though Stanford’s office of the Vice Provost for Online Learning.
