This has been an exciting week for new publications on science education for ELLs. Okhee Lee, Helen Quinn, and Guadalupe Valdés have a new paper on the topic in Educational Researcher. In addition, Science has a special issue on science education that includes a piece by authors including Tina Cheuk and Phil Daro, along with Elizabeth Stage, Harold Asturias, and Sally Hampton. Both papers relate directly to the message of Understanding Language and encapsulate much of our work in the area of science. Congratulations to the authors, and we hope others will benefit from their work.
