We are pleased to announce the launch of a newer, faster WordSift with expanded capabilities.  Since its launch in 2009, WordSift has increased to over 22,000 monthly users and has been featured in many publications for teachers, using the tool to visually dissect text and exploring word patterns with their students.  Please help spread the word!

Helen Quinn, a professor emerita at the Department of Energy's SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and Stanford University, will receive the 2016 Karl Taylor Compton Medal for Leadership in Physics for her contributions to science education and theoretical physics.
